The church is a spiritual family.

King's House is a church that is a spiritual family. We believe it is very important for every believer to be devoted to a spiritual family. This includes being "in" the family not just "attending a teaching service" (Acts 13:1). We are able to grow as believers together in a dynamic way when we give ourselves to community to experience the fullness of God (Eph. 3:19; 4:11-13). When we give ourselves to community God fits us together so that His presence can dwell among us (Eph. 2:22). The Father says that His home will be a place of prayer and worship (Is. 56:7,Matt. 21:13) so we find it essential as a core family priority to give ourselves as a community to corporate prayer and worship. We make it our aim to devote ourselves to one another by spending time eating with one another, giving to one another, and doing life together in a focused way according to the word of God (Acts 2:42-47).

FOUR WAYS TO GROW AND CONNECT IN THE FAMILY

  1. Connecting to corporate prayer and worship: Join the King's House family in weekly prayer and worship in the Prayer Room.

  2. Attending EGS: Grow in the gifts of the Spirit and in relevant teaching at Encounter God Service on Sunday mornings.

  3. Opportunities to serve in the family: Connect with a department to serve the King's House family in the Prayer Room. This includes consistent attendance to at least one prayer meeting a week, helping prayer lead at prayer meetings, singing or playing an instrument in the worship department, learning the sound board for prayer meetings and services, ushering, cleaning team, be apart of the pastoral care team, and kids discipleship team at EGS Service. To connect email us at info@mhopdfw.com.

  4. Connecting for a meal together: We encourage the King's House spiritual family to invite an individual or a family over to your home for a meal together on Friday nights (or a convenient time during the week). We encourage everyone to take communion together at the meal and pray for one another. This is a great time to get to know each other.
